Listen to the wonderful voices of the ARMS Chorus at the annual Ice Cream Social tonight, Friday, April 8th. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show will end at 8pm. Call the office 362-1800 to get tickets for this great event!!

The Second Annual ARMS Math and Science Night will be on Wednesday, April 13th from 7-8:30pm. It was a fantastic, energetic, hands-on activity night last year and sure to be even better this year!! Plan to bring the whole family for math and science fun.

Did you see the film Race to Nowhere? Please attend the Race to Nowhere follow up discussion about educating our children. It will be held on Monday, April 11th from 7 to 8:30pm in the ARHS library.

7th grade students received their 8th grade Registration forms. Please return them by Wednesday.

ARMS School Council meets on Thursday, April 14th from 2:45-4:15pm in room C4-A. The school mission, School Improvement Plan and family, teacher and student surveys will be discussed. This meeting is open to everyone.

On Tuesday, April 12th at 7pm is the next Regional School Committee meeting in the Town Room of Town Hall.

The AEF is hosting it's 1st Annual AEF Spring Sprint! It will be Saturday, May 7th at Groff Park in Amherst beginning at 9am. Raise your heart rate as you raise money for our schools! Online or printable registration at www.amhersteducationfoundation.org

What do YOU think about the school day start time? Is it working well for your family? The Later Start Time Task Force wants to know what you think. Share your opinion in a district wide survey www.arps.org before April 11th.

Spring Recess will be from April 18th to the 22nd. Enjoy the time together with your teens! Classes resume on April 25th.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Parents interested in helping to plan the end of the year 8th grade field trip. Please email Cathy Cullen cullorder@comcast.net to volunteer to help create an extra special day to culminate the middle school experience.
