The ARMS Chorus will perform its ChoralQuest ensemble premiering the original middle-school composition by Artist-In-Residence Alice Parker on Tuesday, June 7th at 7:30pm in the auditorium. This exciting partnership will end with a reception in the cafeteria. If you would like to help with the reception, please contact Cathy at cullorder@comcast.net. Bring your family to the AR(T)HS exhibit of outstanding artwork by ARHS students at the Nacul Center Gallery on Main Street in Amherst. The exhibit will be open from June 9th to June 20th showcasing ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and stained glass.
The Regional School Committee meets in the Town Room of Amherst Town Hall on Tuesday, June 14th at 7pm.
7th Grade students will celebrate the end of the year with a field trip to Look Park on Friday, June 17th.

To celebrate the end of another successful year, the 8th Grade students will be traveling to the High Meadow Resort in North Granby, CT on Monday, June 20th. This looks like a great day to have fun together and put an exclamation mark on the end of the middle school years. Activities will include water balloons toss, pie eating, dance events, basketball, volleyball, sack races, ping pong, lip sync, tug of war, capture the flag, soccer, softball, bungee jump, rock wall, airbrush tatoos, wrecking ball, photo booth, obstacle courses, ultimate and more. A variety of unlimited foods and beverages are available all day at no extra cost. Permission slips will be sent home soon with more information.
8th Grade Moving On Ceremonies will be on the last day of school, Thursday, June 23rd starting at 9am until dismissal at 11:55am.
The Family School Partnership is looking forward to next year and will need a new set of involved adults to take the lead. The FSP Chair, Fundraising Chair, Treasurer, Event Coordinators and Communications Chair will be selected soon. Will it be you?
