Coffee with the Principal is TODAY, Friday, May 6th from 7:45-8:45am in the cafeteria. Give Mike Hayes feedback about the year and your thoughts about the coming year. Chat with other middle school parents/guardians over a cup of coffee. Hope to see you there.

Friday, May 6th is another Family Fun Night at ARMS! Plan to bring your family to the cafeteria from 7-9pm for the ARMS Club Showcase. See what all the wonderful after school activities have to offer. Performances, displays, music, raffles, food, and fun for all.

Tuesday, May 10th is the next ARMS School Council meeting. Administrators, teachers and parents/guardians will work together on the School Improvement Plan from 2:45-4:15pm in C-4A.

Amherst Regional School Committee meets again on Tuesday, May 10th at 7pm in the Town Room of Amherst Town Hall.

Thursday, May 12th is a Late Start Day. Buses will pick up students about 2 hours late.

Have you registered yet for the fun AEF event the 1st Annual AEF Spring Sprint! It's tomorrow, Saturday, May 7th at Groff Park in Amherst beginning at 9am. Raise your heart rate as you raise money for our schools! Online or printable registration at www.amhersteducationfoundation.org

8th Grade end of year celebration day planning meeting will be on Friday, May 13th at 2:45pm. Hope to see both 7th and 8th grade parents helping to plan this new tradition. See you in the main office.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Parents/guardians interested in helping to plan the 8th grade graduation. Please hit reply to volunteer to help to organize the ceremony to conclude the ARMS experience. Thank you!!

5th Annual ARPS Latino Achievement is May 20th at 6:30pm at ARMS. The whole community is invited to attend. Amherst Police Sergeant Jesus Arocho will be honored. Progress Reports for trimester 3 will be distributed at the end of the day next Friday, May 13th.

MCAS testing will be on Wednesday & Friday May 11th and 13th. Please remember to have your child well rested, eat breakfast and consider packing a snack and water bottle for the day. As always, breakfast is available in the cafeteria at 7:30am for $1.

It's time for the 15th annual Plant & Market Sale on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Smith Voc (80 Locust St, Northampton) from 9am-1pm! A variety of plants, vegetables, trees, pots, birdbaths/houses, lawn furniture, garden books, tools & more will be on sale.
